Well guys you can come fish with us during the day...but if you want big fish grab a cold beer and get to TV. Watch your favorite team play in the afternoon/early evening and plan on hitting the river about 9pm. Yep, you heard me right. We're avoiding the fiberglass hatch and we're being rewarded for it. How does topwater poppers sound for browns over 25 inches? Yes, you heard me right. That's what were doing right now and you might want to get on the schedule quickly because it's filling fast. Fishing at night isn't anything new to us but we're doing it far more frequently now and with better success. We've got a few custom patterns thanks to Rod Salyers and he's found the secret to making it happen.

If night fishing doesn't appeal to you, that's okay the Holston and Watauga rivers are still fishing pretty well for this time of year, we just aren't inclined to do it if we can avoid it.
